ABOUT NAPLES BENGALS
Our family has been passionate about the Bengal breed for over 20 years! Our first litter arrived in 2008 and it has been quite the journey! It has been our mission to produce HEALTHY Bengal kittens with a WILD LOOK, SOLID STRUCTURE, outgoing and AFFECTIONATE personalities. All of our Bengal cats and kittens are guaranteed purebred and registered with TICA (The International Cat Association). We are proud to produce these wild-looking mini leopards in rare and rich colors and spare no expense in an effort to do things right.
We are cage free, yet manage to keep a squeaky clean home through intense and routine housekeeping and by keeping our program small... and special. Every cat is lovingly cared for inside our home and kittens are handled from birth. YES, they are quite adorable, but a lot of work and dedication goes into every baby kitten. Every day is critically important as the socialization process begins immediately!
Around 8-9 weeks of age, kittens receive their first vaccine. Around 9-10 weeks of life, they get to safely explore the outdoors, inside our screened in lanai and swimming pool. They really do LOVE to play with water! Some more than others. We've even had a kitten learn to ride a boogie board and another squirt the hose!!
**Kittens do not leave us until they reach at least 12 weeks of age, and have had two sets of vaccines.**
ALL KITTENS come with an Official Veterinary Health Certificate, vet exam, FLEV/FIV test results, fecal test results, dewormed 3x for prevention, microchipped, SPAYED/NEUTERED, one application of Revolution (for preventative purposes) and a health guarantee!!
**WE ALSO TEST/SCREEN ALL OF OUR ADULTS for HCM, PRA and Pk-Deficiency, FELV/FIV, PCR (for parasites & bacteria) and coat color when recessive color genes are possible.** This type of testing enables us to rule out cats that should not be bred (or two cats that should NEVER be paired) and enables us to produce the healthiest offspring.
We gladly will provide test results when someone makes an inquiry and encourage buyers to avoid breeders who cannot produce test results and become offended instead. That is a big red flag! Run, don't look back!!!! There are many scammers out there as well as backyard breeders.
AVOID BACKYARD BREEDERS, their kittens are cheap but may end up costing you hundreds if not thousands in veterinary bills because most, if not all of their kittens, sadly come with health or genetic issues! They may appear fine when they are small or in the photos and then a few days, weeks or months after bringing your kitten home, the symptoms present. Sometimes even the small issues cost much time and money to treat or correct. Sometimes the issue isn't correctable and you have to support a sick kitten with a permanent condition, at your expense.
Over the years, we have built an international reputation as reliable breeders who have produced some of the most beautiful Bengal cats in the world!

The Bengal cat is a relatively new, started in earnest in the mid-1980's, exotic breed of domestic cat originally created by the breeding of the small, wild Asian Leopard Cat to a domestic cat such as the Egyptian Mau, Abyssinian , Burmese, or American Shorthair and a few others. The Bengal breed allows those of us who love and admire wild cats to live with & enjoy their beauty and uniqueness in our own homes, while also benefiting from the domestic Bengal's friendly, loving, and playful disposition.
Bengals are intelligent and very active, especially when young. So they do very well in pairs or more. They do not like to be alone and will get lonely quickly if left at home with no other fur friends. Some cats are just fine being alone, but not this breed! Please consider this when thinking about purchasing a Bengal.
Our Bengal cats are spoiled and loved SO MUCH!! We want the best for our babies so please tell us about yourself and household if/when you do inquire about our kittens. Any breeder with a true concern for where their kittens are placed will always be eager to know a little bit about who is inquiring, so please share.
The diet you provide to your Bengal cat is of utmost importance if you want your pet to thrive, feel good, have a long and healthy life.
Cats are obligate carnivores so feeding them a high protein diet is very beneficial for them.
Currently, many commercial cat foods available on the market contain loads of grain products such as corn, soy and rice. Most Bengal cats have difficulty digesting these products. You may think your cat is doing just fine with low end food, but it will catch up with your furry friend and you will pay a high price for feeding cheap food eventually. It is therefore strongly recommended to feed them a grain free diet. RAW is an excellent option and we are happy to provide links to easy raw recipes that offer a balanced and complete diet.
Bengal cats are remarkable cats, and each kitten has its own unique personality. Our babies can be reserved once we feel we have a match for you or your family, so reach out to reserve your furever friend or to ask any questions. Registered breeder inquiries welcome.
